The Trauma Informed Care Training & Coaching certification Teach and Share is designed to help Trauma Informed Care Trainers work with their training colleagues across the State of California to deliver the most effective trauma training for family child-care providers while receiving constructive feedback.  For the event, trainers will use the curriculum materials (PowerPoint, videos, job aids, and activities) to: 

• practice explaining concepts using their own language
• receive feedback from colleagues regarding how information is explained
• ask open-ended questions to encourage deeper discussion of the training material and
• try-on the use of suggested training activities

Prior to the event, those who have completed ALL components of the certification process which includes:

1. attendance at the August Trauma Informed Caregiver (Day 1) and Enhanced Caregiver Resiliency (Day 2) training
2. Completion of ALL 6 Trauma Informed Care Training & Coaching cohort webinars and
3. Participation in a Community of Practice and/or the October 2018 Joint Network/CAPPA Conference

Attendees will work with their assigned group members to prepare for the Teach and Share event using the information provided in the final Instructor/Trainer Guide which will include the curriculum power points, training guides, videos, and job aids.
