California Building Codes 2019: Setting the Pace for Sustainability Workshop
This is the Registration Page for the Workshop
From reducing greenhouse gas emissions through efficiency and renewable energy to water conservation and building health, California’s goals for the building sector are being advanced through continuous evolution of its building codes. The 2019 changes to these codes, which will become mandatory in January 2020, bring the latest evolution of standards that continue to set the pace for efforts throughout the country.

This daylong session will review the updates to CALGreen (Title 24, Part 11) and the California Energy Code (Title 24, Part 6) for residential and non-residential buildings. It will offer a comprehensive view of current sustainability-related requirements in code, from new and updated requirements for multifamily housing, EV charging and air quality to new requirements for schools and community colleges, and more. The day will also include a briefing on the coming evolution of efficiency requirements for hospital facilities.

Code experts from the relevant state agencies will highlight key issues, address implementation strategies and answer questions concerning the 2019 Code. Find out what might be coming in future code updates and learn more about the code development process.

A vital and comprehensive session for building and design professionals!
