NAS Masterclass on Autism and gender dysphoria
During this Masterclass, Dr Wenn Lawson will explore autism and gender dysphoria, referencing both academic knowledge and understanding along with his own personal story and anecdotal accounts.

The session will discuss some of the research that is relating to autistic individuals living with conflicting gender and sexuality issues. Including questions such as recognising gender variance in autism, how can we tell if gender and sexuality are issues of a permanent nature or are aspects of a special interest, what if these are not issues for the individual at all or are the result of an obsessive compulsive disorder along with the best ways to educate, support and tap into resources for autistic individuals and their families.
