Advanced Cardiac Life Support Course
ACLS is an advanced, instructor-led classroom course that highlights the importance of team dynamics and communication, systems of care and immediate post-cardiac-arrest care. It also covers airway management and related pharmacology.In this course, skills are taught in large, group sessions and small, group learning and testing stations where case-based scenarios are presented. 

The full two day course is for those who have never taken ACLS before or whose certification is expired.  The one day renewal course is for those who are current in their ACLS certification.  Proof of current certification is required.  Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (CPR) certification is also required. 
All students must obtain a student manual.  The manual must be brought to class for use as a resource during the course as well as the written examination.  Additionally, all students are required to complete the online pre-course self assessment.  The link with the access code is located on page ii of the student manual.  You must print the assessment results and present them to the instructor at the beginning of class.  You will not be admitted to the course if you do not present this document to the instructor.
