Upon receipt of your completed registration form and payment, an electronic confirmation will be sent to you at the e-mail address provided when registering.

Gala Banquet at the Georgia Aquarium (Transportation Included)

Full Registration

Full conference registration includes 3-day conference attendance, daytime catering (breakfast & lunch on Thursday and Friday) and the Global Health Museum reception. Gala banquet at the GA Aquarium not included.

One-day Registration

One-day registration includes conference attendance, daytime catering, and reception only on the registered date. Wednesday registration includes the Global Health Museum reception. Gala banquet at the GA Aquarium not included.

Event Registration

The Gala Banquet at the Georgia Aquarium on Thursday night, November 6, has a separate fee of $75 and includes transportation to and from the CDC Global Communications Center. Attendees may purchase a pass for a guest to attend the event for an additional $75. Guests must be accompanied by a conference attendee.

On-site Registration

On-site registration will take place at the Thomas R. Harkin Global Communications Center. On-site registration hours are:

Wednesday, November 5, 11:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Thursday, November 6, 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Friday, November 7, 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.

Please note: Due to CDC security clearance procedures, there is no on-site registration allowed for non U.S. citizens. Click here to go to CDC security information.

Registration for Non-U.S. Citizens

All attendees are subject to a security clearance unless they are CDC employees or contractors. When registering, non-U.S. citizens will be asked to provide their passport number and passport expiration date for security clearance purposes.

Cancellations, Refunds and Substitutions

Cancellations: Registrations may be canceled and refunds issued if email cancellation notification is received no later than Wednesday, October 1, 2008. Cancellations received after this date will not be accepted. Telephone cancellations will not be accepted. Cancellation fees are $35 for student and family registrations, and $75 for all other registrations.

Refunds: Refunds will be processed approximately 2 weeks after the conference. Refunds will not be granted for failure to attend, late arrivals or early departures.

Substitutions: Substitutions are accepted with notification from the original conference registrant via email request if received by Wednesday, October 1, 2008.
