Community Health Symposium and Sapphire Awards

A SPECIAL WELCOME

It is almost time again for the Florida Blue Foundation’s 2018 Community Health Symposium and Sapphire Awards. For those of you that came last year, we want to extend a special “Thank You” for making the 2017 event successful.  We want to Welcome all of you back that came last year and extend a special Welcome to all of you that could not attend last year.

The 2018 Florida Blue Foundation Community Health Symposium and Sapphire Awards will be held on May 3-4, 2018, at the same place, the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center, Kissimmee, Florida.  The theme for the 2018 Symposium is Big Issues in Health.  It is an exciting and timely topic and we have lined up great local and national speakers, incredible professional development sessions, networking opportunities and fun moments for all.

For the first time, in 13 years, the Sapphire Awards, which recognize excellence and innovation in community health, will be held on the first night, May 3, 2018, in the evening instead of a luncheon. You will be able to meet and greet the 2018 Sapphire Awards Finalists at a reception beginning at 5:30 p.m.  The Reception will be followed by Dinner and the Sapphire Awards Program.  Attire for the evening is business or after five attire.

A first again, we are now offering CEU credits, up to 2.0 credits, so please check the box if you want to earn these credits.

Register early to join the 475+ executives and staff from health, health care, allied health, universities, governments, foundations, public health nonprofits and others that will be in attendance at the event.  Remember there are discounts if you register early.

The attire, except for the Sapphire Awards event, is Business Casual.

To register, click the REGISTER button and make your selections, reserve lodging, and pay the registration fee.

If you find your schedule will not allow you to attend, please forward this information on to your colleagues or other interested parties.

We all look forward to greeting you
