Using techniques of embroidery, needlefelting and wool applique, create a small hanging hooped woodland design. Students will work with a variety of materials, include wool/silk embroidery thread, mushroom dyed felt, and hand dyed wool/ silk fiber.  Workshop fee includes pattern and all materials.

Create an oval 8x10 mushrooms and berries trivet using hand dyed wool and rug punch techniques.
Seven hour class will meet Sunday evening and continue Monday morning.  Students will learn to bind edges similarly to that being done on full size rug. 

$55 class fee includes Includes use of tools and equipment, all hand dyed yarn, backing and binding. 

Students may purchase hoop and hook after class for 10% discount.

Our annual mushroom terrarium workshop! 
Create a pair of mushrooms using carded wool and wetfelting techniques.

Class includes all materials for making the mushrooms. Suitable for displaying under dome with woodland treasures.
Domes extra. 

Bring handful of small woodland items such as dry cones, lichen, and moss.

Open to ages 5 and up.  Ages 5-9 with parent.

Embellish your choice of basket with your choice of motifs. Berries, mushrooms, golden leaves may be painted on bands or surfaces of picnic. foraging, or serving basket. 
PLEASE NOTE:  Seven hour class meets Saturday morning  9- noon AND Sunday afternoon. 1-6 pm (Students may finish earlier)
