Payment Processing Overview
There are five options available on rsvpBOOK.com for online sales on your event registration site:

Option 1: Connect to your Merchant Account
If you already have a merchant account, we can connect your online registration web site directly to your merchant account, provided gateway protocols to/from your bank are available. There are many standard protocols available and most banks participate in at least one.

Option 2: Apply for your own Merchant Account
If you do not have a merchant account, we may be able to assist you in setting one up through our partners. We will provide a recommended source from which you can apply for your merchant account. rsvpBOOK.com is not involved in submitting applications nor are we involved in the approval process. After you obtain your merchant account, we will connect it to your registration web site.

Option 3: Set up a PayPal Merchant Account
Service provides PayPal cheet sheets that enable you to set up your own PayPal account and configure it to work with Service's checkout pages. PayPal set up cheat sheets are on our Support page.

Option 4: Set up a Google Checkout Merchant Account
Service provides Google Checkout cheet sheets that enable you to set up your own Google Checkout account and configure it to work with Service's checkout pages. Google Checkout set up cheat sheets are on our Support page.

Option 5: We take wholesale possession of your ticket inventory
RSVPbook will take wholesale possession of your virtual ticket inventory and charge a nominal sales commission plus a per registration transaction fee. This option has several restrictions:

  • We may require a credit check
  • We only process credit cards with U.S. billing addresses. If your guests will be using cards with non-U.S. billing addresses, you must choose Option 1, 2, 3 or 4 or specify an alternative form of payment for your out of country registrants.
  • Revenue limits: if your average customer spend is greater than $350, then we will discuss other options with you when we call.
