Description
  • October 10 (Clinic Setup), October 11-12, 2024
    Volunteer Registration
Please scroll down to read information and register.

    Things to know:
    • The minimum age for volunteers is 18.
    • Each and every volunteer must register individually - no exceptions. You will receive a confirmation letter, as well as any follow-up emails, at the email address provided. Duplicate email addresses are not allowed.
    • Department Leads: If you are planning to provide oral health care, please register under your "Volunteer Type" first. You can then select the NDMOM Chair/Lead under each day to identify you as an event Lead/Chair.
    • You will choose where and when you would like to work; please only choose one job for the shift(s) you are available. Checking a box indicates that you will actually work the shift, not that you are willing, interested, or qualified to work it.
    • Your job preferences cannot be guaranteed but will be followed as closely as possible. Each shift has a maximum number of spaces. Shifts will fill on a first come, first served basis. If we change anything with your schedule, we will send you an electronic notice of the change.

Please do not register for a task for which you are not qualified.  We will be double-checking everyone and will move unqualified applicants to a more appropriate position, as necessary. If there is a job/shift that you would like to work that is not shown on your registration page, please send an email to ndmom@smilenorthdakota.org for assistance.

If you would like to work as a team (i.e., dentist/assistant, entire office, etc.), just be sure to register for the same shift(s). We will not pre-assign assistants to dentists, if you are on the same shift, then you can work together.

Once a shift is filled, it is filled. The sooner you register, the more choices for shift times and assignments you will have. If a shift is full, you will be placed on a waiting list and should the shift become available, the next registrant will be scheduled and notified of the change.

Information, including parking, lodging, and other logistical information can be found on your confirmation page after registration. We will also email this information in a series of volunteer newsletters leading up to the event date. Hotel room blocks are also listed in your registration confirmation. Please reserve a room, if needed, early as they will fill up quickly.

All information regarding your registration (confirmation, shift summary, etc) will be emailed to the address provided after you submit your registration.

Please check the NDMOM website, if you have general questions. THANK YOU for expressing interest and volunteering for this awesome community oral health offering!
