Sacred Soul Gathering of Women is co-created by a group of women who work in a circle of creative collaboration, sharing ideas, decision-making and workloads. They are joined at the gathering by other women in sharing their wisdom and traditions. The women serving on this year's Planning Circle include:
Heidi Thompson, Frenchtown, MD
Starfeather Marcy, Seattle, WA
A Medicine Woman, Starfeather, has lived and taught the Sacred Path through visionary art, women’s circles, drumming and energy healing, for over thirty years. Her goal is to bring self-empowerment to women through art, craft, healing and the re-establishment of the love of the sisterhood among all women. She is the founder of the Medicine Woman’s Mentoring Circle in Edmonds, Washington, a mother and a grandmother.
Anne Baker, Hagerstown, MD
Linda Ours Rago, Harpers Ferry, WV
Linda Ours Rago is a silver-haired Appalachian granny woman. She is always delighted to share her knowledge and show pathways through the thicket. She has walked with old-time granny women and trained in the Reclaiming tradition throughout the US, Canada and Great Britain, and she has written five books on plant magic plus one trashy novel. For more than 4 decades she has lived and gardened in same tiny historic village at the same old house where she raised her family and now lives with her blue cat and her husband of 53 years. These days she also spends as much time as she can on the little mountain farm she inherited, watching the brambles and the trees once again cover the land at their own pace, in their own natural pattern. She and the faeries co-create these wild lush places, working to heal the land and all our relations.
