The Mashpee Special Events Committee thanks you for your interest in Oktoberfest.
Please take a moment to read this page carefully as it includes helpful information.

Date of Event: Saturday, October 1, 2022 from 10am-4pm
Rain Date: Sunday, October 2, 2022 from 11am-4pm

Rain Date Notification: All participants will receive notification via email by 9am Friday if rain is predicted for Saturday. Participants may also visit www.mashpeerec.com and look on the top of the homepage.

Location: 4 Jobs Fishing Road - The Village Green, Mashpee Commons (lcorner of Jobs Fishing Rd. and Steeple St.) across from the Mashpee library (GPS - 64 Steeple Street).

Set-up Times:
7am-9:30am. Participants must bring their own table and professional quality tent.  CRAFTER AND NON PROFIT TENTS MAY NOT EXCEED 10'x10'. We will be checking for tents/tent size upon arrival. If you do not have one, you will NOT be permitted to set up. Your tent must have proof that it meets the flammability requirements (CPAI-84 or NFPA 701).  Most canopies have a tag attached or it will state certification on the bag. FOOD VENDORS ONLY will be permitted to have electrical hookups but need to bring at least 150 feet of extension cord and mats to cover cords. Power hookups are extremely limited. We will approve the first 10 applicants, based on a first come, first served basis. There will be no late set-up to ensure proper security.

Closing Times
: The event will end at 4pm and all vendors/booth participants must participate until closing.  Any vendors/booth participants who leave early without prior notification will not be able to participate in next year's event.  Please remember to remove all trash and debris from your booth. Please check with a member of the Special Events Committee to find out where to dispose of trash.

Parking: One (1) designated parking area will be available for each vendor behind the Mashpee Public Library. A parking pass will be provided.  The only way to enter the event green will be from Jobs Fishing Road. Please note that all cars must be off Steeple Street before 9:30am.  Any cars that are left in those areas after 9:30am will be towed. Steeple Street will be closed for the duration of the event.  We appreciate your cooperation with this matter.

Location: Booth locations are assigned according to specified needs, space, electricity and placement availability.  We will try our best to accommodate requests, but cannot make promises.  Upon arrival, please contact the designated STAFF members (look for beige/brown shirts with STAFF on the back), as they will show you to your booth.  All booths are assigned prior to the event, so please do not begin setting up unless a STAFF member has okay'd you to do so.  Remember, tents & tables will not be provided or available.

Please note the Committee has the right to review your application and may notify you with any issues.
