Artist’s Biography 
 
Andie Thrams makes paintings and artist’s books in wilderness forests of the west, from Alaska to California. Her art and teaching explore mystery, reverence, delight, and vanishing habitats. A lifelong devotion to creative work in field journals has evolved into widely exhibited and honored artist’s books and paintings. Andie’s work is held in numerous permanent collections, including Yale University and the University of California. Andie earned a BA in art practice from the University of California, Berkeley, and she teaches for Sitka Center for Art & Ecology, San Francisco Center for the Book, San Francisco State University Sierra Nevada Field Campus and more. She lives in a small river town in the Sierra Nevada of California with her husband.
