Join us for a day in the Capitol!

On behalf of the California Child Care Resource & Referral Network, we are pleased to invite you to participate in our upcoming Day at the Capitol 2026, taking place in Sacramento.

This is your time to shine! Our annual advocacy event brings together R&R agencies, lawmakers, and state administrators to give you an opportunity to share directly with changemakers the daily Heart Work you do in your local communities. As R&Rs you serve as trusted messengers, community hubs, and first points of contact for families and child care providers. Your voices and lived experiences are powerful tools in policy advocacy. Please join us for an exciting event as we partner to lift up the needs of children, families, and providers across California.

Event Details:
February 24th – 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
Optional tour of the State Capitol building - Max Capacity 35 people
(first come first serve and optional legislative drop-ins for others)
Lunch on your own
Presentation on Policy & Advocacy 101

February 25th – 9:00 am to 3:30 pm
Legislative breakfast with policy panel
Boxed Lunch Provided
Advocacy day meetings with representatives

Fees:
$55.00 - Registration for both days
$45.00 - Optional dinner on February 24th

Deadline: Registration due by January 20, 2026.
