Boosting Assesment Readiness - SAT

Beginning Spring 2026, Kentucky’s College and Career Readiness (CCR) high school assessment will transition to the SAT, while students will continue to participate in the Kentucky Summative Assessment (KSA). Are your students ready for both?

This two-part virtual professional learning series for high school science and math teachers focuses on practical, classroom-ready strategies to support student success on both SAT and KSA.

Each group will participate in two 90-minute sessions:

  • Session 1: A shared focus on SAT and KSA, exploring expectations, overlaps, and instructional connections

  • Session 2: An exclusive focus on KSA, with attention to assessment design, student data, and instructional next steps

Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of Kentucky’s assessment landscape and tools they can immediately use to support student learning and performance.
