Coherence in Action - Three-Part Series
This training supports Elementary and Early Middle School Administrators in supporting teachers that are implementing effective strategies to enhance student thinking, fluency, and deep mathematical understanding.

Coherence in Action is a three-day professional learning experience designed to help K–5 educators strengthen alignment and continuity in mathematics instruction across grade levels. Participants will examine how mathematical ideas develop over time by exploring the Kentucky Academic Standards, learning progressions, and HQIR lessons. Through collaborative, cross–grade band work, educators will build shared understanding of standards-based instruction that is intentional, aligned, and coherent—creating clear pathways for student learning. Participants will engage in purposeful tasks and activities that promote mathematical thinking and build fluency, while also examining how instructional facilitation impacts student achievement. The session supports teachers and instructional leaders in effectively implementing these strategies across classrooms, ensuring consistent, high-quality math instruction for all learners. Registration also includes: Morning refreshments and an instructional resource kit
