Please Join Us for a Day of Learning and Networking


The board of Wisconsin Chapter of the ACMA would like to invite you to sponsor our upcoming Spring Conference on May 7, 2023 at the Brookfield Conference Center in Brookfield, WI

The Wisconsin Chapter of the ACMA is a nonprofit 501c3 organization. One of our main objectives is to provide educational opportunities which advance the case management profession. Your support in sponsoring our educational events and in providing beneficial information regarding resources available to the patients we serve is very much appreciated. Sponsorship includes a display booth 4x8ft table, three sections of the day dedicated to interaction time with sponsors, and up to four individuals provided access to the education sessions. We look forward to you joining us on May 9.

Session 2: Working with Schizophrenia:  It’s REALLY NOT Just About the Meds

  1. Articulate the limitations of antipsychotic medications in treating the symptoms of schizophrenia and why clients are reluctant to tell us about their symptoms.
  2. Articulate the limitations of a reliance on a “medical model” approach to schizophrenia, and the need for social/psychological intervention.
  3. Explain / describe one psychological, CBTp intervention that can be used with a person experiencing hallucinations and/or delusions.
