CONFERENCE CANCELLATION and REFUND POLICY

UPDATE: CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

(as of 12 March 2020)

The safety of our conference participants is our priority. Currently, the risk of the COVID-19 novel coronavirus for Canada and Alberta remains low. Our plans remain on course for a safe and professionally enriching conference.

At this time, the existing conference and cancellation refund policy still apply.

Full registration refunds will apply if:
• the MSOM 2020 conference is rescheduled or canceled;
• participants are unable to travel due to travel restrictions* issued for the dates of the conference.

*Travel restrictions include prohibited travel of domestic or international situations related to COVID-19.

Since the SIG and MSOM Conferences incur certain expenses prior to the conference, it is necessary to impose the following cancellation and refund policy:

  • Registrations cancelled before 30 April 2020 are eligible for a full refund of the registration fees paid, and will be charged a $50 administrative fee.
  • Registrations cancelled between 1 May to 27 May 2020 are eligible for a 75% refund of the registration fees paid and will be charged a $50 administrative fee.
  • Registrations cancelled after 27 May 2020 are not eligible for a refund.

Refunds requested after 16 May 2020 will be processed after the conference.

To cancel your registration, please email your request to info@msom2020.com

There will be no refunds granted for registrants who do not meet the conditions outlined above. Delegates who do not attend meals, receptions or health breaks included in the registration fee will not receive a refund equivalent to the cost of the meal.

CANCELLATION and REFUND POLICY for Tours, Events and Activities:
Will be available in February 2020.

ADJUSTMENT of REGISTRATION FEES:

After a delegate’s registration is completed, the SIG & MSOM Conference Planning Committee reserves the right to review the information provided by the delegate and adjust the registration ticket type and fee if it is found that the information provided by the attendee has been misrepresented, false or incorrect. Any adjustment to fees will be charged directly to the payment method on file.

ADMITTANCE:

In its sole discretion and without refund, the SIG & MSOM Conference Planning Committee reserves the right to refuse admittance to or expel from the conference anyone that it determines is behaving in a manner that could be disruptive to the conference or any other attendee.
